Absolutely Appalled

Hamilton’s arguments seem both specious and at times truly desperate. I mean, doesn’t invoking an Old English law “champerty and maintenance” whereby Hamilton would have to prove that the Council of Canadians benefited materially and directly in some way from the eight citizen lawsuits seem like a stretch?  It would seem that Judge Mosley was less than receptive to Hamilton’s argument that the Council’s benefiting politically met the requirements of said ancient law.
